Celbridge School of Ballet was founded in 1992, and has been  based at The Mill, Celbridge, since its inception. The main focus  at the school is ballet training. The school welcomes all children,  and offers ballet lessons to those who wish to enjoy one class per  week, and also students who wish to train more often. Over the  years many students of the school have gone on to pursue careers  in dance. Examinations: Students at the school are prepared for examinations of the  following boards:  The Irish Board of Dance Performance (IBDP),  Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), and Royal  Academy of Dance (RAD). Celbridge School of Ballet provides a safe and nurturing  environment in which children can develop as dancers and realize  their full potential in a non-competitive and creative fashion.   The school mounts a show every three years, affording children  and students the opportunity to perform in a theatre.
